Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, leveraging their expertise to design, implement, and support Business Central solutions. Also, they will conduct other projects as required, using business knowledge and experience to achieve the required outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and analyse business processes and requirements.

  • Design, document, and implement solutions in Business Central to optimise business processes.

  • Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future ERP requirements to meet organisational needs.

  • Configure Business Central modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) based on organisational needs.

  • Develop customisations in Business Central using AL language and extensions.

  • Assist in managing data migration, reporting, and testing efforts.

  • Perform system integrations using APIs and third-party tools.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to align Business Central with other enterprise systems.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and system alignment.

  • Provide technical assistance to ensure continuity of IT operations and resolve cross-functional issues.

  • Any other reasonable duties associated with the role or projects assigned to meet the overall objectives of the role.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Dynamics 365 Business Central, including technical and functional roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.

  • Excellent computing skills – Excel and other MS products.

  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture.

  • Working knowledge of ERP packages.

  • Proficiency in AL programming and familiarity with C/AL.

  • Knowledge of business processes, especially in Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain.

  • Familiarity with integration tools.

  • Flexible to do the hours required to complete the role.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within the business.

  • Able to challenge the status quo and provide efficient and new solutions to overcome challenges.

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday - Office Based
