Ingredients
2 x Veetee Steam Filtered Sticky Rice
500g beef mince
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic granules
2 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp honey
1 red onion, sliced
½ cucumber sliced
1 lime, juice
1 red chilli, thinly sliced (optional)
Your preferred cooking oil or spray
Salt & pepper, to taste
Method
Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the beef mince, smoked paprika and garlic granules. Cook until starting to brown, around 5 - 7 minutes, breaking it up with the back of a spoon as it cooks. Season with a pinch of salt.
Add the gochujang paste and stir in 150ml warm water, mix well. You can add more or less gochujang paste depending on how spicy you would like it. Add the honey then simmer for 3 - 4 minutes, adding another splash of water if needed.
Thinly slice the red onion and cucumber. Juice the lime. Sprinkle over the lime juice and add a pinch of salt, then massage the lime juice into the red onion and cucumber.
Cook the Veetee Sticky Rice in the microwave according to the packet instructions, usually 2 minutes. Once cooked, fluff it up with a fork.
